Quick, super week-late review from me. Confirmed Dead was an example of a great way to introduce new characters on the show. Miles, Charlotte, Lapidus, and Daniel seem like they are going to be solid, and especially, help give some answers about what the island is, and what it can do. Matthew Abbadon said, in Naomi's one and only flashback, that everyone was selected for a specific reason. Those reasons where alluded to in each character's flashback, and I hope the freighties have one more episode before the season ends.I want to know more. Charlotte and Faraday have the most potential because they have scientific interests in the island. Daniel is a physicist, and Charlotte is an anthropoligist with a weird fettish for Dharma polar bear collars. When she landed on the island, Charlotte seemed very happy to be there.
The exchanges between Sawyer, Ben and Locke were well written, and Locke's description of his meeting with Walt was a lot more blunt then I thought it would be. With the show coming to an end fairly soon, the time to be cryptic is over. It's answer time now, and this episode was a very good way to set the stage for these pivotal characters..
Tonight's episode is titled "The Economist" and it's Sayid-Centric. I'll be watching this bad boy on DVR though, because apparently, watching Lost on Valentine's day isn't everyones idea of a good time.
Blasphemy!
9/10
